Push-in tubes should only be used in cases where length adjustment is necessary. Due to their design, push-in tubes are not shock explosion proof.

Description
The easy solution for creating special lengths on site within a modular system. Slip tubes are available in different lengths and are fitted with a ring seal. They are inserted into a welded tube as far as required and then fixed in place with a pull-ring. The push-in tube should be inserted at least 50 mm into the straight tube, and the minimum length that is bridged is 45 mm. The easiest way of creating a special length – without sawing, welding or lip flanging!

This connection is not shock explosion proof. Admissible over-pressure 100 mbar (1000 mm WG, 10,000 Pa).

Slip tubes are not telescopic tubes that can be adjusted during operation. When push-in tubes are installed horizontally, support must be provided directly on the tube before or the tube after the push-in tube. In vertical tubing, the tube under the push-in tube must be supported. Use in tubing systems conveying foodstuffs is not recommended. Please also read and take into account our slip tube installation instructions.
